Who can use Dead Drop

You must be 18 or older. One account per person, signed in with Apple or Google.

What you can post

• Drops and messages about yourself or the place you're at.
• Never name, describe or hint at a real person.
• Start spots only in public places, never at someone's home or workplace.
• No threats, harassment, hate, sexual content, or anything illegal.
• No contact details or social handles. We blur them automatically.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We remove content that breaks these rules and suspend the accounts that post it.

Reporting and blocking

Long-press any drop or message to report it. Content that several people report is hidden right away until we review it. You can block someone in a spot's chat so you don't see them there again. We act on reports within 24 hours.

Anonymity

Other people can't see who you are. We can, and we will use that to act on reports and, where the law requires, to respond to legal requests.

Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store and show it to people who unlock it, until it expires or you delete your account.
